The main attraction of this vacation destination, Mammoth Mountain offers year round fun! Skiing and snowboarding in winter, mountain biking and hiking in summer. New in 2018 are rock climbing experiences and a zip line from the top!

The Tamarak Lodge at Twin Lakes offers a variety of alternative winter activities.

Cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and sometimes ice skating on the lake. 

Too crowded at Mammoth? Escape to June for fewer crowds and breathtaking views. 

Kids ski free all year!

In summer, Mammoth is known for it's lakes!

(Hence the name)

Dozens of hiking trails for all levels, from around the lakes to high country and back country destinations. Fishing is allowed in all the lakes, and boats and pontoons are available for rent.

Once the road opens for summer, head down to Devil's Postpile. This area is the gateway to back country exploration and is a stop on the John Muir trail. For a shorter adventure, hike to Rainbow Falls. Or hire a mule outfitters to do the hiking for you.
